sad songs they say so much...

Just when you think you're over it and you no longer care. Just when emotions are starting to subside and all is well. You're reminded. It isn't like before. The desperation is gone and the hurt is healing. But, you hear a song, read a passage in a book, watch a scene in a movie and that rawness emerges once again. Lessons learned and pain felt come back to haunt you and you feel that same old longing...if only for a second and then it's gone again. The song "I Don't Believe You" by Pink made me cry today. Didn't see that one coming! But, I love her!! I guess love really never totally dies...no matter how hard you try to kill it.
